‘Unity Not Uniform’ – Imagine Teen Think Tank, 2024

Imagine’s “Unity Not Uniform” was held at the South Pacific Division offices in Wahroonga on September 7, 2024. With food for thought and for their bellies, the teens delved into topics of mental health, identity and coping with stress based on Romans 12:3-8. We wanted everyone to know that we are united in our goal but we need each individual person and their gifts/thoughts to achieve it. Thank you to the volunteers, teens, and speakers for attending and making this event an answer to pray.

“We had approximately 40 teens from all over Greater Sydney and we look forward to taking this concept into schools and churches to incorporate what we learn into our ongoing strategy. It is always amazing to connect with our regular and first-time Imagine attendees, seeing them connect with different parts of the program or the people makes all the hard work and effort worthwhile. God always makes a way for these programs to come together and I believe He wants all teens to know how much He loves them and is right beside them through all their very real, and important struggles – and so are we.” – Shaylee Walsh (Imagine Teens Leader)

‘Path to Purpose’ – Imagine Teen Conference, 2023

Our FIRST ever COMBINED teen event!!!

On June 24, 2023, this team held the ‘Path to Purpose’ Conference at the South Pacific Division warehouse. As the first of its kind, with over 130 teens in attendance and 50 volunteers, it was an awesome day for everyone to learn more about God’s purpose for them. The theme verse for the day was Colossians 3:17 with the tag line ‘God + Gifts = Gains’, meaning that when we have God and use the gifts He has given us we receive eternal gains. The teens were given the opportunity to learn about their individual strengths, cultural awareness, music, art, kingdom business and more.

Our vision as a team is to inspire a generation of teens, helping each other unlock their purpose and journeying in faith together. We want to do this by creating authentic faith communities for teens who fall in the gaps of church or school. I believe we achieved this at the ‘Path to Purpose’ event through mentoring and empowering teens to get involved, both on and off stage, in areas that excite them and showcase their God given gifts.” – Shaylee Walsh (Imagine Teens, Leader)
